Shipping & Live Arrival Policy

Please review the following information carefully before placing your order.

All live livestock is shipped overnight only to ensure the health and safety of the animals. Orders ship on Mondays and Tuesdays at a flat rate of $39.99. Orders placed Wednesday through Sunday will ship the following Monday or Tuesday, weather permitting. Shipping schedules may be adjusted due to holidays or unforeseen circumstances.

To reduce waste and maintain water quality during transit, all fish are fasted for a minimum of 24 hours prior to shipping. Depending on order timing and our feeding schedule, shipments may be held for several days before dispatch.

If temperatures at the destination are below 40°F, shipping may be delayed to protect the livestock.

Live Arrival Guarantee

While every precaution is taken, shipping live animals carries an inherent risk. In the rare event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), a clear photo of the deceased fish inside the original, unopened bag must be submitted on the day of delivery to be eligible for a claim. By purchasing, you agree to follow this procedure for any DOA requests.

Once a fish has been released into your aquarium, no refunds or replacements can be offered.

If you will not be available at the time of delivery, we strongly recommend requesting that the carrier hold the package for pickup at their facility. Exposure to extreme heat or cold can be harmful to live aquatic animals.
