🐠 Overnight Livestock Shipping

All live livestock is shipped via overnight service only to ensure the health and safety of the animals.

Shipping Schedule

• Orders typically ship on Monday and Tuesday

• Occasional Wednesday shipping may be available depending on weather and carrier conditions

• Orders placed Wednesday through Sunday will generally ship the following Monday or Tuesday

• Shipping schedules may change due to holidays, weather, or unforeseen carrier delays

Livestock Preparation

To reduce waste and maintain water quality during transit, all fish are fasted for a minimum of 24 hours prior to shipping.

Depending on feeding schedules and order timing, some shipments may be held for several days before dispatch to ensure livestock quality and stability.

Weather Delays

If destination temperatures are below 40°F, shipments may be delayed to protect the livestock.

While every precaution is taken to ensure safe delivery, shipping live animals always carries some inherent risk.

In the Rare Event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival)

To qualify for a claim:

1. The fish must remain inside the original unopened bag

2. A clear photo of the deceased fish in the sealed bag must be provided

3. Photos must be submitted on the day of delivery

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to follow this procedure for any DOA requests.

Important Policy Information

• Once livestock has been removed from the original bag and/or released into an aquarium, no refunds or replacements can be offered

• Exposure to excessive heat or cold can be harmful to aquatic livestock

• If you will not be home during delivery, we strongly recommend requesting that the carrier hold the package for pickup at their facility
